HellermannTyton's fir tree mounts provide a secure grip in a mounting hole and protect against dirt and other impurities. Part number 150-74890 provides this functionality. The mount can slide along the strap of the cable tie for proper orientation. The fir tree mounts are designed to provide a low insertion force and high extraction force. This mount is sold as an assembly with the cable tie.
Fir tree design can be used with a wide variety of applications. Disc' on the top of the fir tree covers the hole and minimizes the ingress of water and dirt. Friction tab inside of fir tree allows tie to sit in mount without falling out prior to installation.
