WELD-8 — 8 AWG Welding Cable
Our WELD-8 welding cable is part of our extensive stock of portable cords and power cables. This 8 AWG welding cable features a stranded bare copper conductor with 182/30 construction for flexibility, along with a tough Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber jacket that serves as insulation and protection. The cable has a nominal outside diameter of 0.28 inches, an insulation thickness of 0.06 inches, and a temperature range of -50C to +105C, making it suitable for power supply applications and secondary voltage resistance welding leads. With an approximate weight of 80 lbs per 1,000 feet, this flexible welding wire is both durable and easy to handle.
Allied Wire and Cable is a leading distributor of Class K Welding Cable. We offer many gauge sizes, from 8 AWG up to 500 MCM. All of our welding cables feature EPDM rubber insulation/jacketing for superior durability and flexibility. Standard colors are black and red, with additional options such as orange, yellow, blue, and green available. These cables are also RoHS compliant and offer excellent abrasion resistance and long-lasting color retention for enhanced safety.
