DL-USB3.1A-28B.22ETCT30.1 — Defense-Link USB3 Cable
Our DL-USB3.1A-28B.22ETCT30.1 is a high-performance Defense-Link USB 3.0/3.1 cable designed for durability and signal integrity in mission-critical applications. This cable features three 28 AWG conductors (7/36 stranding), two 22 AWG conductors (19/34 stranding), and three additional 28 AWG conductors (7/36 stranding), all constructed from tin-plated copper for strength and corrosion resistance. The conductors are insulated with a combination of extruded FEP and ETFE, providing excellent dielectric properties, chemical resistance, and thermal stability. A 28 AWG tin-plated copper drain wire runs between the dual shield layers for reliable grounding.
To protect against EMI/RFI interference, the DL-USB3.1A-28B.22ETCT30.1 utilizes dual shielding: an aluminum/polyester foil shield with 25% nominal overlap and a 40 AWG tin-plated copper braid with 90% minimum coverage. The rugged matte black flame-retardant Cablethene jacket, 0.03 inches thick, ensures flexibility and abrasion resistance while maintaining low weight. With a voltage rating of 600V, an operating temperature range from -55C to +90C, and an approximate weight of 44 lbs per 1,000 feet, this Defense-Link USB 3.0/3.1 cable is built for aerospace, defense, and harsh-environment USB interconnect systems.
