RG 402 — Coaxial Cable
RG 402 is a high-performance coaxial cable engineered for demanding RF and microwave applications. It features a solid silver-coated copper clad steel conductor with a diameter of 0.036 inches, offering excellent strength and conductivity. The cable is insulated with a 0.119-inch thick PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) dielectric that ensures low signal loss and stable electrical characteristics. An overall bare copper tube shield provides superior protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI). With a nominal capacitance of 29.4 pF/ft, a 50-ohm impedance, and a voltage rating of 2500 volts, RG 402 operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -55C to 100C. This makes it ideal for high-frequency, high-voltage applications requiring durability and consistent signal integrity.
