General Cable Thermostat Wire is a part of Allied Wire and Cable's extensive line of General Cable Carol Brand Plastic Cord. Carol thermostat wire is ideal for use in a wide range of applications, including thermostat control, heating and air-conditioning installations, touch-plate systems, burglar alarms, intercom systems and door bells.
General Cable thermostat wire is available to meet UL and CSA standards, including UL Type CL2 or CSA Type LVT specifications.
Carol Brand thermostat wire features annealed solid bare copper conductors and premium-grade, color-coded PVC insulation and either a white or brown PVC jacket. A selection of 20 AWG unjacketed thermostat cables are also available. These wires have temperature ratings of eithr 60°C or 105°C.
