Note 1:
MAXIMUM LENGTH: The maximum length per package is 108 inches or 270 centimeters (length is the longest side of a package or object).
MAXIMUM SIZE: The maximum size per package is 130 inches or 330 centimeters in length and girth combined (Girth is the distance all the way around the package or object at its widest point perpendicular to the length).
Note 2:
*If Shipments exceed 19,999 pounds, or if shipments occupy twenty (20) linear feet, or occupies 750 cubic feet in a trailer, call Truckload Routing as indicated above
Example to Calculate Cubic Cap.: Skid weighs 500 pounds with dimensions of 42" x 48" x 48".
Step 1: Multiply 42"x48"x48" = 96,768 cubic inches (Includes skid and all packaging)
Step 2: Divide 96,768 by 1728 = 56 cubic feet (1728 = number of cubic inches in a cubic foot)
Step 3: Repeat for each skid in the shipment and add together. ( If skids are not stackable, then skid count multiplies by 2 because of trailer usage to the ceiling.)
Step 4: Result = Number of cubic feet in the shipment
