Hub-LINK Transit Cables are available from Allied Wire and Cable. We are an authorized distributor of Comtran. All of these cables meet low-smoke, zero-halogen requirements and UL standards. They are ideal for a multitude of applications. These include outside plant transit, subways, tunnels, voice and data, termination closets, conduits, and various mass transportation facilities.
The Hub-LINK Telecommunication Cable is UL Listed. Types CMG-LS, CM-LS, CMG, and CM meet a variety of other industry approvals. These Transit Cables feature pairs of twisted color-coded 22 AWG stranded bare copper conductors, but are also provided in other AWG sizes. Hub-LINK Transmission Cables are constructed with blended LSZH/PO insulation and jacketing. They carry a voltage rating of up to 300V and a temperature rating of up to 90°C when wet.
Hub-LINK Datacom Cables are carried in 23 and 24 AWG sizes with 4 pairs. The Hub-LINK LSZH Transit Communication Cable is designed by Comtran to follow New York City Transit Authority (NYCT) requirements and UL Type CMR-LS, CMG-LS and CM-LS standards. These cables are made with twelve through 200 pairs of twisted color-coded 22 AWG solid Bare Copper conductors but are available in other sizes by request. NYCT Approved Transit Communication Cables feature modified low-toxicity LSZH/PO insulation, inner jacket, and outer jacket. They are also protected with an overall copper tape shield placed over the inner jacket.
