The New Voices of Allied Wire & Cable

Crystal Sweet and Lauren Kwiatkowski

You will hear new voices on the other end of the line when you call Allied Wire & Cable’s central phone numbers. Crystal Sweet and Lauren Kwiatkowski are two of the newest members of the Allied family, and will be answering calls and handling the front desk at our Collegeville, PA headquarters.

Before joining Allied, Crystal volunteered and worked for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia as a receptionist. She is currently attending the Lansdale School of Business for Paralegal Studies, and enjoys painting with acrylics and drawing in her free time.

Lauren joins Allied Wire & Cable after five years in the US Airforce, where she maintained survival and oxygen equipment for pilots. She also spent time as a landscape foreman, and as a salesperson with Buckman’s ski shop. Lauren earned an AAS degree from Thomas Edison State College in Aviation/EMT. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, running, attending music festivals, and going to Eagles games.

Our longtime front desk receptionist, Samantha Bergeman, has done an amazing job taking care of customers over the years, and will incorporate her excellent customer service skills into her new position as a sales assistant. We’d like to congratulate Samantha, and wish her the best of luck in her new role!

As always, Allied Wire & Cable is dedicated to keeping things personal. We strive to provide the attention and expertise you deserve, and with Crystal and Lauren waiting to answer your calls, you are sure to receive the fast and convenient service you expect with AWC. Welcome to the family, Crystal and Lauren!

We Asked, They Answered

Allied Family, 25th Anniversary

We asked employees what they thought of Allied Wire & Cable’s 25th Anniversary, how they’ve seen Allied grow over the years, and which company values are responsible for reaching this important milestone. Here’s what they had to say:

    • I started with Allied Wire and cable back in 1994. At that time I was the 7th sales person and that included the 4 owners. Since then it is amazing how much the company has grown due to hard work and our loyal customers and vendors. I am proud to say I work for such a successful company and I love coming to work every day. – Libby Achenbach, PA Sales

    • AWC stops at no lengths to make sure that the customers are not only happy, but that they are blown away with the personalized dedication and commitment that we have for each and every one of our customers. – Liz Gilmore, TN Sales

    • Watching Allied grow from something so small to the company it is now makes me so honored and proud of my family and that I am a part of Allied! Hard work and dedication really does pay off! – Kristen Casey, Accounting

    • Most of my customers love that we are a full line distributor and specialty manufacturer of all wire and cable products. They say that it saves them so much time, only having to worry about going to one place when their wire and cable requests come up, that they are able to get more of their other work done. Not only that, but they love how competitive our pricing is. – Wes Linton, PA Sales

  • When I joined Allied, 5 years ago, I could never have imagined the tremendous growth we would experience. I am proud and honored to work for a company that values its employees and customers as much as Allied does! Looking forward to the continued growth and all of the new names and faces. Here's to another 25 years, Allied! – Jeanmarie Mohrman, Marketing

Joke of the Month!

A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position.

As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?"

"Yep," the wife replied, "in-laws."
