AWC Marks 20 Years of Service

20 Years of Service

Allied Wire is celebrating 20 years of exceptional service in 2008.

In 1988, AWC opened its doors. Owners established the company with the hope of developing a customer-focused wire and cable business. Today, Allied Wire has become a leading wire and cable company that remains focused on customers. We are proud of what AWC has accomplished.

"Four of us started Allied Wire in our parents' basement 20 years ago with high expectations and no money," said owner Tim Flynn. "We knew then and it still holds true today, that if you work hard, give competitive pricing and treat your customers like gold you can succeed. Twenty years later, we are living our dream. We have multiple facilities with well over 100 employees and are blessed with a loyal customer base. We always believed that we have a responsibility to take care of our employees and to give back to society. Over the last 20 years, we have consistently donated to charitable causes, such as Make-A-Wish, Leukemia Society, Cancer research, Katrina survivors and our own employees who have run into hard times. I am excited to see what the next 20 years has in store for Allied Wire and Cable and our many friends."

AWC thanks all of our loyal customers for your support over the years. You have made our company the success it has become today. Allied Wire & Cable will continue to provide quality service for years to come.
